The Team, through its Collegiate Services Division, will provide assessment, training and ongoing support for all sponsorship and advertising related activities within the University’s athletic department. “The Team has many years of experience in sponsorship and advertising sales within the sports industry. UTSA looks forward to the opportunity to work with The Team to increase our sponsorship and advertising dollars," said Jim Sarra, UTSA's Associate Athletic Director for External Operations. “We very much look forward to working with the UTSA athletic department and helping it grow and improve its overall sponsorship and marketing program,” said Frank Pergolizzi, The Team’s Director of Collegiate Services. The division has serviced a number of collegiate clients since its start, including the University of Pittsburgh, Louisiana Tech University, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Western Michigan University, Cabrini College, Manatee Community College, Crown College, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the American Southwest Conference, the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, the University of Wisconsin, Superior, and the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference. The Division also provides management services to the Central Illinois Collegiate Summer Baseball League and the Mid-State League in Columbus, Ohio. Based in Dublin, Ohio, The Team: Sports, Entertainment, & Media began operations in January 2002 and has successfully managed transactions for an array of entities throughout the sports and entertainment industries, including teams at all levels, venues, buyers, sellers, licensed products, television and media projects, feature films, and other related businesses. Along with brokering professional sports and entertainment opportunities, The Team also offers comprehensive consulting services to sports and entertainment organizations throughout North America.
